Salary: $75,000 – $95,000
Location: Heber Springs, AR

Position Overview
The Purchasing Manager is responsible for overseeing the procurement processes of an organization, ensuring the efficient purchasing of materials and goods while maintaining quality and cost-effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize purchasing processes.
  • Manage supplier relationships to ensure the best pricing and quality of materials.
  • Analyze inventory levels and trends to forecast purchasing needs effectively.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with vendors to secure advantageous terms.
  • Collaborate with production and operations teams to understand material requirements and timelines.
  • Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and new products.
  • Monitor and evaluate supplier performance to ensure compliance with contractual obligations.


Qualifications

  • BS degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field or 5 years of experience in purchasing or procurement
  • Proven experience in procurement or purchasing management.
  • Strong experience using Microsoft Excel and Office Suite
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with inventory management and bill of materials concepts.
  • Experience with procurement software and tools.
