About the Role
Our Emerging Company Services team is expanding and we’re looking for a Senior Manager to join our vast community of solvers. The Emerging Company Services team brings our purpose to life by developing, designing, and implementing organisational transformation to improve performance and generate lasting growth for our clients. We help identify an organisation’s strategic goals, assess the fit of the organisation against those goals, and then identify and implement the change needed to create a fit-for-growth business.
You’ll help solve complex problems by using your skills in:
Advanced Financial Analysis: Lead and deliver in-depth financial and operational analysis to uncover key insights that guide strategic decisions for high-growth businesses.
(Optional) Experience in Investment, Capital Markets, Deals, M&A or Debt Advisory: Apply your background in capital raising, transactions, or investment to support clients through funding rounds, exits or other key growth milestones.
Project Management Excellence: Oversee and drive complex projects across multiple workstreams, ensuring collaboration, timely delivery, and high-quality outcomes.
Clear and Influential Communication: Present analysis, insights and recommendations to clients and internal stakeholders in a clear, persuasive, and engaging manner.
Team Leadership and Development: Provide direction and mentoring to junior team members, reviewing their work and helping develop their technical and commercial skills.
Thought Leadership: Contribute to research and the development of new ideas that position PwC at the forefront of the startup / scaleup and investment ecosystem.
Client Engagement: Build strong client relationships, gaining deep insight into their challenges and opportunities to deliver tailored, impactful advice.
Organisational Change, Risk Analysis and Process Enhancement: Implement organisational change and drive better business practices. Identify financial and operational risk areas and recommend practical process enhancements for clients and internal teams.
Proactive Business Development: Support the team in identifying and pursuing new opportunities, deepening client relationships, and growing the Emerging Company Services practice.
In our Emerging Company Services team, your impact will be seen by:
Delivering Strategic Financial Insights: Conducting and reviewing high-quality financial and operational analysis to support investor readiness and commercial decision-making. Drive one-firm collaborating across PwC teams to prepare financial models, valuation analysis, investor presentations, and data room materials.
Managing Projects Successfully: Leading client engagements from start to finish, coordinating teams, managing deadlines, and ensuring successful outcomes.
Creating Clear and Compelling Content: Developing materials that turn complex ideas into clear, visual and actionable messages for clients and stakeholders.
Contributing to Research and Thought Leadership: Exhibit unbounded curiosity to drive market-shaping research and publishing insights that keep PwC at the cutting edge of industry trends.
Strengthening Client Relationships: Acting as the day-to-day contact for clients, building trust and delivering consistent value throughout engagements.
Improving Processes and Managing Risks: Streamlining internal and client-facing processes, identifying areas for improvement, sing constructive challenge to promote risk-aware decision-making.
Delivering Business Growth: Supporting the team in growing our client base and service offerings by proactively identifying new commercial opportunities.
